About

Logan Speirs studied art while at Highgate School, London, under Sir Kyffin Williams, R.A. (honored as the Welsh national painter). Admitted to the Slade Art School in London, Logan went to Cambridge instead and became an English professor. He remained an artist, however. In 2000, he took early retirement in order to do art full time. Since then, he’s kept regular hours in his studio. He paints in oils. Many of his woodcuts are derived from paintings he has sold.
