Amy is getting married in May and so on a major wellness and fitness drive – there is no one more determined than a bride-to-be! Amy loves to do lots of high intensity workouts and lifting heavy… although she is trying to incorporate more pilates and yoga into her routine as well to find more balance so this will all be reflected in her Christmas Wish List!
So fitness fashion is pretty high on my list this year – my laundry basket seems to be more workout clothes than normal clothes – so I am always eyeing the loveliest workout kits out there as I wear them a lot! My wishlist is definitely very focused on training and my goals…. I have 5 months and counting!
Sweaty Betty Zero Gravity leggings £90
I keep getting legging envy when I spot people wearing these lovely leggings in the gym! They are a lovely dark purple and black colour so a bit of a change from my regular black leggings but still quite chic and understated, they are also supposed to be super sculpting and flattering to your booty! They are compression leggings and ideal for running or any high intensity workout
Vie Active Tessa 7/8th Black Leopard compression leggings £80
I just love leopard print and I’ve been eyeing these for yonks from Active in Style – they seem to frequently sell out and get restocked… they are my ‘reward’ leggings that I am going to get as soon as I have hit some fitness targets. They are made from compression fabric and suitable for all styles of workout.
Love this tank with it’s aztec pattern. Can never have too much black in your wardrobe but it’s nice to have a bit of a design feature. It’s a great shape and flattering addition to your workout wardrobe.
GYMCLASS class package £various
I love training at Gymclass – it is so much fun and I would just love to go to more classes there. I am going on Classpass at the moment but I would love to go there more than 3 times a month! They offer various class packages so check them all out.
DKPT Personal training Pack £various
DKPT is a beautiful studio in West London mostly dedicated to Personal Training although they do also offer fab TRX classes. I have just started training there as part of my wedding preparations. I recommend them wholeheartedly. As we all know personal training comes at a cost so it would be such a lovely gift for someone that really wants to achieve their goals.
ToeSox £10
I’ve been training at FORM studios recently and loving it, so for the first time in my life had a need for sticky socks! (You can also buy these socks in their studio.) These are perfect for any pilates style class and great as you have added balance with the toes being separate and personally I think they look good! There are also longer pairs that act like leg warmers – perfect for this cold weather and early morning classes! Love!
HLL ‘Eat Sweat Breathe’ hoodie £35
Yes I know we are making these so silly to add them to my wish list but I am SO excited about these arriving! They are great quality and so cosy. You can preorder them now to receive it in January. You will get free delivery if you preorder and whilst you may not be able to wrap it up on Christmas day there’s nothing like an unexpected present to cheer someone up post festivities in January!
Trigger Point Foam Roller £22.50
After a brilliant ‘Supple Circuit’ class at Lomax I have discovered the amazingness (ok maybe not a real word) of these things and how much they can help your muscle recovery. I particularly appreciated the difference between the different surfaces of this roller so I am definitely keen to upgrade my current one to one of these – and make a New Years Resolution to use it more regularly!
Infruition Water Bottle £15.99
Love this idea – there’s 3 versions of this bottle: Classic, Sports and a little one for children. The bottle itself is dishwasher friendly (hand rinse the lid and chamber) and it’s leak proof – this is music to my ears as I spill water in my bag all the time! Perfect for if you need to up your water consumption (most of us do) but fancy a bit of flavour. I would definitely be adding cucumber, lemon and mint to mine… if I get one 😉
Sports Massage £various
When you workout a lot you need to look after your muscles as well as working them hard. Even though I know this I don’t take my own advice enough – so this is why I think this is a fab gift – something that you know someone will truly physically benefit from. If you live in West London I thoroughly recommend Laurie Neall – he knows what he is talking about and can really help aid recovery – in general and from injury. A single massage is £65 or you can buy a pack of 3 for £190 or 6 for £330.
